AI Usage and Disclosure Policy

Ace, the assistant in Pace, is AI. Here is what that means for your data and for what Ace can and cannot do.

Version draft-2026-10-23Effective: effective date

Draft for attorney review. This page is not in effect yet. Highlighted items are facts or decisions Pace has not supplied. Pace is in early access, so some sections describe how things will work once accounts, connections and paid plans exist.

Ace is an AI

When you talk to Ace you are talking to an AI system, not a person. Ace finds options, compares them, drafts messages and applications, and prepares actions. The app labels Ace as AI wherever you use it.

The model behind Ace

Ace runs on Claude, a large language model made by Anthropic, through Anthropic’s API. When the model is unavailable, the app says so in the chat and answers from a small set of pre-written scripts instead.

What is sent to the AI provider

When you send Ace a message, Pace’s server sends Anthropic:

Ace can search the web and read public pages through Anthropic’s web search and fetch tools. Search terms come from your request.

Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, Anthropic does not train its models on API inputs and outputs by default, and it keeps them only for a limited time. confirm Anthropic’s current data use and retention terms under Pace’s agreement, and whether zero data retention applies

Pace does not use your data to train AI models. confirm as long-term policy

Your controls

In the app, under You → Privacy and data:

Your approval comes first

Ace never books, buys, pays, sends or submits anything on its own. It prepares the action and shows you what it will do. You slide to approve. Purchases, bookings and payments get a second confirmation that shows the cost.
