Acceptable Use Policy
Pace acts for you out in the world, so these rules cover what you ask Ace to do as well as how you use the app.
Draft for attorney review. This page is not in effect yet. Highlighted items are facts or decisions Pace has not supplied. Pace is in early access, so some sections describe how things will work once accounts, connections and paid plans exist.
Do not use Pace to
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it
- Buy or book anything you are not allowed to buy, including age-restricted items such as alcohol, tobacco, vapes or weapons, or anything you need permission for
- Use a payment method, account or identity that is not yours, or that you do not have permission to use
- Impersonate anyone, or send messages that mislead people about who wrote them
- Harass, bully, threaten or hurt anyone, or send spam
- Cheat or break your school’s academic integrity rules, such as handing in Ace’s draft as your own work where that is not allowed
- Make fake reservations, hold spots you do not intend to use, or resell tickets against the seller’s rules
- Collect information about other people without a right to, or share their private information
- Create or share sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children
- Lie about your age or get around the age screen
Do not misuse the service
- Do not try to get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to reach
- Do not test, probe or attack Pace’s security without our written permission. To report a vulnerability, see Contact
- Do not scrape, overload or disrupt Pace, or use bots to access it
- Do not try to make Ace produce harmful content, or get around its safeguards
- Do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer Pace except as the law allows
Third-party rules
Ace works with other services, so their rules apply too, along with Anthropic’s usage policies for AI. If a service bans something, do not ask Ace to do it there.
What we do about violations
We may refuse a request, remove content, or suspend or end access. Where the law requires, we report illegal content to the authorities. To report misuse, write to support email.
